SHINE meets a critical, basic need not only by meeting the growing demand for food, but also by offering a welcoming front door to all. The kitchen serves as the entry point to the services available through the Dream Center of Pickens County. SHINE is the first place our neighbors turn for food, which in turn creates the opportunity for helping address the core issues that impact their lives.
Opportunities to Serve
We have many ways that you can help us serve our neighbors. You need to be at least 17 years old to volunteer. The majority of our food donations and volunteers are from local churches, however, we accept other individual volunteers.
